1600th Support Group

The 1600th Support Group was an integral logistics and support unit within the United States Air Force, primarily active during the Cold War era. Established in the late 1940s, the unit was assigned to support the operations of Air Force Headquarters and later played a crucial role at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland.
