The 159th Engineer Group was a United States Army Reserve unit with a distinguished history of service. Activated during the Cold War era, the group provided critical engineering support, including construction, mobility, and infrastructure repair for both combat and humanitarian missions. Throughout its existence, the 159th Engineer Group participated in numerous training exercises and deployments, supporting operations both domestically and overseas. The unit was eventually inactivated as part of broader force restructuring, but its legacy of engineering excellence remains recognized within Army engineering circles.
