best way to get the marine dogs in a fight is to sneak up behind them when they're drinking water and slam the lid on them.

What the Air Force done to me They put me in a barber chair Cut off all my beautiful hair Mama mama, can’t you see Look what the Air Force done to me They took away all my colorful clothes And replaced with uniforms of blue and green They took away all my golden rings And replaced them with stripes, ribbons and wings They stripped me down til there was nothing left And built me up with the utmost confidence They took the girl I used to be and made a United States, Air Force soldier out of me!

I am searching for my biological father USAF Sgt. John Thomas Young. He was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in Lancaster California in 1974. I was born John Thomas Young Jr. May 26th 1974 at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster California. I was adopted 3 days later and named Chance Goodwin. I have a biological Sister by the name of Angel Young. Please help me find them. Thank you so very much!!
Went through Basic Training with my Friend Richard. I remember he was very tall 6'-3" and very thin framed body. I remember during Training Exercises that Richard was directly behind me when we were Marching in unison. I believe I was the only Airman up/front by myself. I believe it was called a Guide/On and I was directly in front of my Friend Richard. He was a Christian and probably still is. I remember he was from the great state of Tennessee.
Looking for Richard William Bramlett (it may actually be William Richard) who grew up in upstate New York but was stationed at Goodfellow AFB (Security Police) San Angelo, Tx in 1975.
I am asking for help to get this message out to the world. I believe, together, we can truly help our homeless veterans... Thank You... My book is available on Amazon... My name is Ed Solomon. I am 92 years old, live in Southern California, and recently published a book with a title that usually makes people smile: Cooking at 90 When You Hate the Kitchen. At first glance, it may sound like a cookbook. In reality, it is a story about resilience, humor, independence, and proving that it is never too late to begin something new. I am not a chef. I have never hosted a cooking show, attended culinary school, or claimed to be an expert in the kitchen. In fact, for most of my life, I did everything possible to avoid cooking. Then life changed. After surviving a life-threatening illness that kept me hospitalized and in nursing facilities for 148 days, I returned home with a renewed appreciation for every day I was given. Rather than slowing down, I decided to challenge myself in ways I never imagined. One of those challenges became this book. Written with humor, honesty, and a healthy dose of self-deprecation, Cooking at 90 When You Hate the Kitchen shares simple recipes, observations about growing older, and the discovery that even someone who dislikes cooking can find satisfaction in creating something for themselves. Perhaps most important, I have pledged 100% of my royalties from the book to causes close to my heart: 50% to support our homeless veterans and 50% to TIMOTCA, a nonprofit art organization dedicated to promoting peace through the arts. Over the years I have traveled the world, pursued business ventures, enjoyed a lifelong passion for music and the arts, and now, at 92 years young, found myself becoming an author. I believe your readers may find inspiration in the message behind the book: You're never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream. If you feel this story might be of interest to your readers, I would be honored to provide review copies, photographs, additional information, or participate in an interview. Thank you for your time and consideration. Warm regards, Ed Solomon Author | Poet | Storyteller Author of Cooking at 90 When You Hate the Kitchen and CHEERS Contributing Author, Chicken Soup for the Soul Co-Author, From the Children of Ukraine – My Dream of Peace

A fresh out of basic airman was in transit to his first duty assignment. When exiting the restroom at the airport, three other service members looked at him assuming he had used the facility and commented. In our branch of the military, they teach us to wash our hands after we use the restroom. The Airman turned and commented, they won't take someone in my branch of the service unless we know enough not to pee on ourselves.

Seeking information about a U.S. serviceman named Ivan stationed at Camp New Amsterdam, Soesterberg (1969) Dear Sir or Madam, I am trying to locate information about an American airman or soldier named Ivan, who was stationed at Camp New Amsterdam in Soesterberg, the Netherlands, around 1969. During that period, he was reportedly living in a rental house at Sint Nicolaasweg 40 or 42 in Bunschoten. Later, he was called back to serve in Vietnam, where — according to local accounts — he may have been killed in action, although this has never been officially confirmed. I would be very grateful for any information, records, or leads that could help identify this person — for example, personnel rosters, housing lists, or contacts among veterans who served at Soesterberg around 1968–1970. Thank you for your time and assistance. Sincerely, Ted Duijst
