After basic training at Lackland AFB, s erved as an air traffic controller at Richards-Gebaur AFB in Kansas City, MO. From there, was assigned to the 37th TFW at Phu Cat AB, South Vietnam. My next station was Vance AFB, OK, then transferred to Tyndall AFB in Panama City , FL. My final assignment was Kadena AB, Okinawa. On June 4, 1974 I discharged at Travis AFB, CA. A year later, I was hired by the FAA and worked until my retirement in 1998.
