USS Ogden (LPD-5) was an Austin-class amphibious transport dock commissioned by the United States Navy in 1965. Throughout her service, she played a pivotal role in transporting Marines, equipment, and landing craft, notably participating in the Vietnam War and later in Operation Desert Storm. Ogden also supported humanitarian missions, including disaster relief operations in the Pacific. After over 39 years of distinguished service, she was decommissioned in 2007 and later used as a target during a SINKEX exercise in 2014.

USS SARATOGA

The USS Saratoga was a United States Navy aircraft carrier that served during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. It was named after the Battle of Saratoga, a key American victory during the Revolutionary War. The ship was commissioned in 1956 and remained in active service until 1994 when it was decommissioned. The USS Saratoga was eventually sunk as a target during a naval training exercise in 1998.

USS PORTLAND (LSD-37) was an Anchorage-class dock landing ship commissioned into the United States Navy on 3 October 1970. Designed to support amphibious operations, she transported and launched landing craft, vehicles, and Marines during key deployments. Throughout her service, PORTLAND participated in numerous exercises, humanitarian missions, and operations, including deployments to the Mediterranean and support during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. The ship served with distinction until her decommissioning on 27 February 2003, after more than three decades of active service.

CG-31 USS Sterrett

USS Sterrett (CG-31) was a Belknap-class guided missile cruiser commissioned by the United States Navy in 1967. Throughout her service, she played a significant role during the Vietnam War, providing naval gunfire support, plane guard duties, and missile defense for aircraft carriers in the Gulf of Tonkin. In the 1970s and 1980s, Sterrett participated in numerous exercises and operations in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, demonstrating the Navy’s global reach during the Cold War. After over two decades of distinguished service, USS Sterrett was decommissioned in 1994 and eventually scrapped.
