Come from a long line of veteran’s serving this country from the Revolutionary war, Civil(POW)war, WW 1 and 2(D-day),Korean and Vietnam wars. I joined the Marines shortly after high school near the time Vietnam War was coming to an end. My service was short, but the memories run long.After my tour, the welcome home was not great.That era was not quite favorable to the military. I’m thankful to see the change. The reason I joined the VetFriends is , after more than 50 years, reconnect with buddies I served with. Share memories and connect with like-minded individuals that served this country.
