I served 3 years active duty 1974-77. Basic and AIT at Ft. Dix, NJ. Permanent duty as a cook (94B) with 401st MP Company, 720th MP BN. After ETS in June 1977, I was a 1) cook in FA Battery (New Castle, PA) 2) BNOC Instructor in 1036 USAR School (Farrell, PA) 3) Inactive Reserve 3 yrs (did multiple ADT's, etc.) 4) 1st Cook, then Mess Sgt in 347th QM CO. (Farrell, PA) 5) Army Reserve Recruiter (Brattleboro, VT) 6) 99th ARCOM Food Svc Supervisor/Inspector (Oakdale Army Base, Pgh, PA) 7) Mess SGT FA HDQTRS, PGH, PA 8) Mess SGT MP CO (PGH, PA) I finally made it to 20 (Good Years of Service) in December 1994 and retired as a Staff Sgt. I am now 69 years old, divorced with 3 adult children and I am quite active at my local senior center.
