I worked 40 footers at Miami Beach Base after Radio School in Groton Connecticut then I served on the 95 footer Cape Knox 95312 also out of Miami Beach Base ... I was then sent to San Juan to assist with the Ocean Eagle oil spill and finished my enlistment on the Cutter Point Warde 82368 stationed in San Juan before going back to Miami for separation and returning to my home of record, Chicago. While in Miami I married and when I left the service I had two kids, one born in Miami and the other born in Puerto Rico. I worked in hospitals, finished college in Georgia and was evenually hired by Hewlett Packard as a Bio-Medical Engineer in the field of Computer Technology. My third child was born in Macon, Georgia just before I was transfered to Fort Lauderdale followed by Atlanta and eventually Nashville as I worked my career in the Electronics division of Bio-Medical Technology for HP and Philips
