Robert Zielfelder
Served 4 years during Vietnam War. Attached to aviation squadron VA72 Bluehawks. Served with them as an Aviation Storekeeper. Achieved rank of AK2 (E5). Served with the squadron based out of NAS Cecil Field in Flordia. Served on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. 1966-1967 served with the squadron during Vietnam tour. After 3 years given shore duty at Naval Supply Depot at Havelock, N.C. During my duty in Havelock, N.C. I met my wife. At the end of my four years of service we moved to my home town to begin our lives. My wife and I shared 56 wonderful years together, until her passing. We had 5 children who are all still sharing their lives with me. My military service has impacted my life to this day. I love this country to this day. God Bless America!
