Joined the Reserves 2 weeks before my 18th birthday, while still in high school. Went to college but due to a misunderstanding. I had surgery which kept me at home and the Navy thought I was no longer in college, so they called me to active duty. I did 13 years on active duty and had a disagreement with the detailer so returned to the reserves. 28 year's total.
