I am a Navy veteran that served for 5 years 1982-1987 assigned to VAQ-134 Whidbey Is. Wa. Deployed on 3 cruises with this squadron aboard USS Carl Vinson CVN-70. Left Whidbey Island in 1985 after initial 3 yr enlistment ended. Extended enlistment for 2 yrs transferred to VP-5 squadron Jacksonville Fl. One deployment with this unit for 6 months in Bermuda. Honorably discharged in 1987 in which I became a truck driver until 2018 when I had to retire early due to a botched neck surgery left me without the use of my legs
