Feb 1975 Worked on the arresting gear engines and primary flight control on the Midway. Operation frequent Wind evacuation of Vietnam. Crushed my left femur June 10th, 1976 after working all night to change the cable on one of the engines. Was left in Subic Bay hospital for 2 weeks then sent to Fitzsimmons hospital in Denver, was navy liaison checking on new patients, then 6 mo later sent to Lowery AFB, putting on E4 in charge of people eating on security clearance. Then 6 mo later sent to pick up the Constellation in Japan in 1977 back to San Diego until 1978 being discharged.
