Entered the Coast Guard in June/1969, Tracen Cape May, NJ. Member of Presidential Honor Guard. After boot, assigned to the USCGC Rockaway, home port Governor's Island, NYC. N.Y. from 1969-1971. Cutter Rockaway was decommissioned a short time later. Reassigned to the Security Police unit on Governor's Island in 1971 and served there until 1973, separated from CG upon Honorable discharge.
