2AD 1/41 (M) Inf. from 74-79 . Went to Germany on TDY twice to Hohenfels . It was called Brigade 75 and Brigade 77. In 1976, Div, Cdr was Patton III. Went ton Reforger in Jan 79. PCS to Korea Camp Casey May 79 for one year. Was in 1/17(M) Inf. Went on DMZ to Guard Post Ouellette and GP Collier Many patrls in DMZ. Went Ft Lewis,Wa. Jun 80, right after MT St.Helen went off .Unit there was 3/47 Inf. Went back to Korea 1981.This time stationed at Camp Greaves DMZ area. Unit was 1/9 Inf. (MANCHU). Stayed for 2years in Scout Platoon. Went back to states in 1983. Stationed at Ft. ORD, Ca. 2/9 Inf (MANCHU). COHORT unit. Went with that unit to Korea in 1984. Went to Camp Liberty Bell across from JSA area, Panmunjon. Stayed there till 85. Got married in 85 to nice Korean lady. Back to Ft. ORD in 85. Got job at Presonnel Control Facility. 1986 went to FT Benning for ANCOC, then went to FT Leonard Wood for Drill Sergeant school. Went back to Ft Ord to Pack up and PCS to FT Benning for Drill Sergeant duty. 1986 thru 1990 at Ft Benning. Three years on the trail. Reup for Korea . Stationed at Camp Casey and Camp Red Cloud HHC 2X for 2 and 1/2 years. Final duty post at Presidio of Monterey Defense Language Institute until retirement July 1994.
