I served with K-3-5 1st MarDiv 1965. We went to Vietnam aboard the USS Mitchal, stopped on Okinawa, where we changed our unit designation to B-1-3 3rd MarDiv. After 13 months in Vietnam, we returned as a unit. Once we landed from our ship, the USS Wiggle, we went to MCRD S.A., and from there we went to H-2-27, 5th MarDiv, a reserve divion setup for returning Vietnam 1966
