David Ribble

I served aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71. I was assigned to the V4 Fuel Division. I worked on the flight deck fueling all aircraft aboard the ship. One of the best times I had as a grape was being part of the team to fuel the helicopters from the 10th Mountain Division from Fort Drum, NY. I will never forget how it looked like we were going to get attacked as they came in to land on the flight deck. It was definitely different; working with another branch onboard our ship.
