MACV Team 2, also known as Advisory Team 2, was a unit within the U.S. Military Assistance Command, Vietnam (MACV) that operated during the Vietnam War. The team was primarily tasked with advising and assisting the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) forces in Quang Ninh Province, located in the I Corps Tactical Zone near the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Members of Team 2 provided operational guidance, training, and logistical support to improve the effectiveness of South Vietnamese military operations against the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese Army. Throughout its deployment, MACV Team 2 played a significant role in coordinating joint operations, intelligence sharing, and fostering cooperation between U.S. and Vietnamese forces until the drawdown of American involvement in the early 1970s.
