The 146th Signal Battalion is a unit of the Florida Army National Guard with a distinguished history in military communications. Originally constituted in 1940 as the 2nd Battalion, 116th Field Artillery, it was later reorganized and redesignated as the 146th Signal Battalion in 2006. With its headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, the 146th Signal Battalion continues to play a critical role in ensuring secure and reliable communications for military operations.
