419th Fighter Wing

The 419th Fighter Wing is a unit of the United States Air Force Reserve based at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. It is an associate unit with the active-duty 388th Fighter Wing and operates F-35A Lightning II aircraft. The wing performs a variety of missions including air combat operations, force protection, and combat support. With approximately 1,200 reservists and nearly 600 full-time support personnel, the 419th Fighter Wing is able to rapidly deploy and support worldwide operations. The wing has a long history of service and has been involved in numerous deployments and operations, including Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Iraqi Freedom.
