H&MS 31

Headquarters and Maintenance Squadron 31 (H&MS-31) was a United States Marine Corps aviation support unit originally activated to provide administrative, supply, and intermediate aircraft maintenance support for Marine Aircraft Group 31 (MAG-31). The squadron was first established during World War II and played a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness of the group's aircraft in the Pacific Theater. Throughout the Cold War, H&MS-31 continued its mission, supporting Marine fighter squadrons at various locations, most notably at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina. In the late 1980s, following a Corps-wide reorganization, H&MS-31 was redesignated as Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 31 (MALS-31), continuing its legacy of vital aviation logistics support.
H&MS 15

Headquarters and Maintenance Squadron 15 (H&MS-15) was a United States Marine Corps aviation support unit established to provide logistical and maintenance support for Marine aircraft. Activated during the Vietnam War era, H&MS-15 played a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness of aviation units by handling aircraft maintenance, supply, and administrative functions. The squadron was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, serving as a key support element for Marine aviation operations in the Western Pacific. H&MS-15 was eventually redesignated as Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 15 (MALS-15) as part of a broader reorganization of Marine aviation support units in the 1980s.
VMFA115

Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 115 (VMFA-115), known as the "Silver Eagles," was originally commissioned as VMF-115 in July 1943 during World War II, flying the F4U Corsair in the Pacific Theater. The squadron saw significant action in campaigns such as the Battle of Okinawa and later participated in the occupation of China. During the Korean War, VMFA-115 provided close air support and interdiction missions, and in the Vietnam War, the unit operated out of Da Nang, flying the F-4 Phantom II in combat operations. Today, VMFA-115 is based at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina, and flies the F/A-18 Hornet, continuing its legacy of excellence in support of Marine Corps operations worldwide.
