The 60th Air Mobility Wing is a unit of the United States Air Force based at Travis Air Force Base in California. It is responsible for providing rapid global mobility and sustainment for military operations worldwide. The Wing operates a fleet of cargo and tanker aircraft, including the C-5 Galaxy, C-17 Globemaster III, and KC-10 Extender. Additionally, the 60th Air Mobility Wing supports humanitarian missions, aeromedical evacuations, and other critical operations as needed.

439th Airlift Wing

The 439th Airlift Wing is a United States Air Force Reserve unit based at Westover Air Reserve Base in Massachusetts. The wing's primary mission is to provide tactical airlift capabilities to support national defense and humanitarian efforts around the world. The 439th Airlift Wing operates C-5 Galaxy aircraft, which are among the largest military aircraft in the world and can transport oversized cargo and personnel long distances. The wing is comprised of several squadrons, including the 337th Airlift Squadron and the 439th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron.
