Bob Wright

The 3rd Security Police Squadron was a United States Air Force unit stationed at Bien Hoa Air Base in South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Activated in the early 1960s, the squadron was responsible for base security, perimeter defense, and protection of personnel and aircraft against enemy attacks, including mortar and rocket assaults. The 3rd Security Police played a critical role during the Tet Offensive in 1968, repelling enemy infiltrations and ensuring the continued operation of the air base.
