USS Ingersoll (DD-990) was a Spruance-class destroyer commissioned into the United States Navy on April 12, 1980. Named in honor of Admiral Royal E. Ingersoll, the ship served primarily in the Pacific Fleet, participating in numerous exercises and deployments, including operations in the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean. Throughout its service, USS Ingersoll provided vital anti-submarine, anti-aircraft, and surface warfare capabilities to carrier battle groups and independent task forces. The destroyer was decommissioned on July 24, 1998, and later expended as a target during a fleet training exercise in 2003.

USS Gridley (CG-21) was a Leahy-class guided missile cruiser commissioned into the United States Navy on May 25, 1963. Originally designated as DLG-21 (destroyer leader), she was later reclassified as CG-21 in 1975. Throughout her service, Gridley played key roles in the Vietnam War, providing naval gunfire support and serving as a radar picket and missile defense ship. Over her career, she participated in numerous Pacific Fleet exercises and operations before being decommissioned on January 21, 1994.

USS Paul F. Foster (DD-964) was a Spruance-class destroyer commissioned into the United States Navy on February 21, 1976. Named in honor of Vice Admiral Paul F. Foster, a Medal of Honor recipient, the ship served in numerous operations, including deployments to the Western Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Persian Gulf. Throughout its career, Paul F. Foster participated in key missions such as Operation Praying Mantis in 1988, where it engaged Iranian naval forces. After nearly three decades of service, the destroyer was decommissioned on March 27, 2003, and later repurposed as the Navy's Self Defense Test Ship.

USS Decatur (DDG-31) was a Charles F. Adams-class guided missile destroyer in the United States Navy, commissioned on December 7, 1956. Initially serving as DD-936, she was reclassified as a guided missile destroyer in 1967 and redesignated DDG-31. Throughout her career, Decatur participated in key Cold War operations, including Vietnam War deployments, providing naval gunfire support and anti-aircraft defense. After decades of service, she was decommissioned on June 30, 1983, and later used as a target ship before her final disposal.

USS Hewitt (DD-966) was a Spruance-class destroyer commissioned into the United States Navy on 25 September 1976. Named after Admiral H. Kent Hewitt, the ship served extensively in the Pacific, participating in numerous exercises and deployments, including operations in the Persian Gulf during the Iran-Iraq War and Operation Desert Storm. Hewitt was recognized for her anti-submarine warfare capabilities and frequently operated alongside carrier battle groups. After over two decades of service, USS Hewitt was decommissioned on 25 July 2001 and later sunk as a target in 2005.
