USS McFaul (DDG-74) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer commissioned into the United States Navy on April 25, 1998. Named after Chief Petty Officer Donald L. McFaul, a Navy SEAL killed in action during Operation Just Cause, the ship has supported a variety of missions, including counter-piracy operations off the coast of Somalia and ballistic missile defense patrols. In 2009, McFaul played a key role in delivering humanitarian aid to Georgia following the Russo-Georgian War. The ship continues to serve as a vital asset in maintaining maritime security and projecting U.S. naval power worldwide.

USS Arkansas (CGN-41) was a Virginia-class nuclear-powered guided missile cruiser commissioned into the United States Navy on October 18, 1980. Designed for multi-role operations, she served as an escort for aircraft carrier battle groups, providing air defense and surface warfare capabilities with her advanced missile systems. Throughout her active service, Arkansas participated in numerous deployments, including operations in the Mediterranean Sea, the Persian Gulf, and support missions during the Gulf War. Decommissioned on July 7, 1998, the ship was subsequently dismantled as part of the Navy’s Nuclear-Powered Ship and Submarine Recycling Program.

Built to detect and clear naval mines, she served primarily in the Pacific Fleet and participated in numerous mine countermeasure exercises during the Cold War. *Enhance* played a notable role during the Vietnam War, conducting coastal patrols and minesweeping operations to ensure safe passage for allied vessels. After decades of service, the ship was decommissioned in 1991 and subsequently struck from the Naval Vessel Register.

As the first nuclear-powered frigate (later reclassified as a cruiser), she played a pioneering role in demonstrating the strategic value of nuclear propulsion within surface combatants. Bainbridge notably participated in Operation Sea Orbit in 1964, circumnavigating the globe without refueling alongside USS Enterprise and USS Long Beach. Throughout her nearly 33 years of service, Bainbridge was deployed extensively in the Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Indian Oceans, before decommissioning in 1996.
