U.S. Army Veteran
Bio
Kevin Hayes was born in Santa Anna, California, and raised under the wide skies of Mississippi, where he learned early the value of grit, loyalty, and a good sense of humor. In his younger days, he found freedom on two wheels and trouble often followed close behind—motorcycles and women kept life interesting, and he wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. These days, life has a different rhythm. Kevin spends his time with his wife and his loyal service dog by his side, reflecting on the roads he’s traveled and the people who shaped him along the way. He carries a deep appreciation for the teammates and friends from his past and hopes to reconnect with those who shared the journey. I served 7 active-duty years as a Marine 3rd Battalion 4th marine division ECHO company. Between 1978-1986 and Army 1990-1991 and 2001-2004 and was attached to 223rd Battalion. I served National Guard Army Reserve 14 years beginning 1987 and discharging 2005. Some areas I served included: • 1984 Hawaii, Kane'ohe Bay • 2003 Tikrit Iraq • 2003-2004 Samarra Iraq • 2006 Bagdad Iraq • Aug-Jan 2005 Al-Kut and Bagdad Iraq
