The 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, was activated on October 3, 1984, at Fort Benning, Georgia, as part of the U.S. Army’s elite 75th Ranger Regiment. Since its activation, 3rd Ranger Battalion has participated in major operations including Operation Just Cause in Panama, Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, and Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq.
