The 1st 8 Inch Howitzer Battery, part of the 1st Field Artillery Group (1st FAG), was a key artillery unit in the United States Marine Corps. 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines, 1st Division (Rein)

The 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines (2/11), part of the 1st Marine Division (Reinforced), was activated in World War I and has since served as a key artillery battalion within the Marine Corps.
