501st Signal Battalion

The 501st Signal Battalion was originally constituted on 2 March 1942 in the Army of the United States and activated on 15 March 1942 at Fort Dix, New Jersey. During World War II, the battalion provided critical communications support for operations in Europe, including campaigns in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe. After the war, the unit saw several periods of inactivation and reactivation, notably serving in Germany during the Cold War as part of V Corps. The 501st Signal Battalion continued its mission of ensuring reliable communications for command and control until its inactivation in 2007 in Germany.
122nd Signal Battalion

The 122nd Signal Battalion was constituted on 3 June 1941 in the Regular Army and activated at Fort Benning, Georgia. Originally assigned to provide communications support for the 2nd Infantry Division, the battalion served with distinction throughout World War II, participating in campaigns across Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace, and Central Europe. After the war, the unit continued to support the 2nd Infantry Division during the Korean War, earning additional campaign honors for its vital communications role. In later years, the battalion was stationed in Korea, ensuring reliable communications until its inactivation in 2005 as part of Army modular transformation efforts.
384th MP Battalion

The 384th Military Police Battalion was constituted on 28 October 1944 in the Army of the United States and activated on 15 November 1944 at Fort Custer, Michigan. During World War II, the battalion served in the European Theater, providing critical law enforcement and security operations. After deactivation in 1946, the unit was reactivated in the Army Reserve, with subsequent service supporting Operations Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. Throughout its history, the 384th MP Battalion has distinguished itself through its commitment to discipline, security, and support of both combat and humanitarian missions worldwide.
