The 1st Battalion, 37th Armor Regiment, known as "Bandits," has a distinguished history within the U.S. Army, particularly in Europe. In the postwar era, 1-37 Armor was stationed in Germany as part of U.S. Army Europe, playing a vital role in NATO’s deterrence mission during the Cold War.
