The 175th Military Police (MP) Battalion is a unit of the United States Army with a distinguished record of service. The 204th Engineer Battalion (204th Eng Bn) of the New York Army National Guard (NYARNG) was originally constituted in 1967, consolidating several engineer companies throughout New York State. Headquartered in Binghamton, the battalion has provided vital combat engineer support, including mobility, counter-mobility, and survivability operations. The 204th has supported both state emergency responses—such as disaster relief during floods and snowstorms—and federal missions, including overseas deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan during the Global War on Terror.
