The 8th Aviation Battalion was an aviation unit of the United States Army, originally constituted during the Vietnam War era. Activated in 1966, the battalion was assigned to the 8th Infantry Division and later provided critical aviation support, including troop transport, reconnaissance, and logistical operations.
