Team 52 during 65-66. I was RTO in Tam Binh. My C.O.'s were Major Kitchens, Lt. Davis, Major Shields, Captain Bamberg. Sgt. Hampton, medic Ritter Lt. Knight. I did return in November 2005.

VP44 at NAS NORVA was my first duty station right out of Boot Camp in 1951. I was assigned to the "Beach Crew." Left the squadron in '54 aboard the USS Hornet CVA12. Retired in 1973 as ADC.

My name is Don West and I was in VR7 from 1965 until decommission in 1967. Flew as FE and was trained and qualified by, Chief Monte "Red" Humphress. ADJ1 then, retired as ADC.
