i receive 100% fom the social security for my service connected injury but the va will only give me 40% how do i get my 100%

guys your records mean everything i copied all of mine when i was in it helped me and i have a great VSO we filed everything pice by pice. now what the VA wants is this the injury/the care/and the outside doctors records this means a CMP eval next

have consultation with your VSO at one of your medical facility. See if you can be re-evaluate make and appointment with there psych Dr.

I was rated 50 Service Connected Disability. Although My DC & P Examiner stated I am definitely PTSD nothing shows in my record..What can I do?

As for unemployability, the longest I was able to hold a job was 2 years, and they kept moving me from office to office before firing me. This was a county job. The reason was that I "didn't work well with others." Sounds again like PTSD, right?

Hi, Guys. I am a former WAC with PTSD from MST. Because I was in from 1971 to the end of 1972, I got no rights and no representation. I couldn't report because of payback, and no medical data was possible. I suffered from 1972 to present.

Erik, by there rules it depends on what years you served, was it during a conflict era ? that what the V.A. goes by, you are almost my age, so you were in during the Viet Nam era?

If you have a Dr. that says you cannot do any gainful employment. The Va has to grant you 100%. File a notice of disagreement to the Regional office. I am on SSDI, 90% Service Connected, I put in for Unemployability and was denied because I moved from Alexandria, VA to North Carolina. I still no longer work I have ruptured disc. I also was Active Duty, Active Reserve, Medical Retirement, when I put in my 20 ear letter the unit never boarded, did not add my Active Duty points to my Active Reserve records. The unit did not complete my records. What should I do,

I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO WORK FOR TEN YEARS. WAS SUPER IN CONSTRUCTION. IAM CURANTLY 80%.i HAV HAD 4 MAJOR SURGARY 100% SOAL SEC.have an appeal in prossese.VA seems to think I can still work with my head you have to get there first.

you don't have to get off from your unemployability to go back to school. Just apply for GI bill if you still meet the requirements. Or apply for vocational training.

GO TO THE VA FOR VOCATIONAL REHAB AND FIND OUT IF YOU ARE NOT EMPLOYABLE,IF NOT THEY WILL AT THIS TIME RATE YOU AT 100% GOOD LUCK !!!!

The VA has a different rating system. During the process for my wife she was told we dont care WHAT social security gives you. I guess that meant they have their own rating system. Did anyone help you
