We have no info on dad's service in WWII. He died in '72 &Army records were destroyed in a fire. He entered Army in '44 and served til '46. He was at Camp Chaffee,AR.He was from Carbondale, IL.THANKS!

Who might have served w/ Edward S Chandler in WWII. Born in Arkansas (1924). Army Infantry unit went to Germany. Not sure what Div. or Battalion served. Military records destroyed during 1973 fire.

Hello, my name is Ron Gainer. All WWII VETERANS can go to the State and County Clerks Office where they were inducted into the service to recover their Discharge History. That's how I received my dad's WD AGO FORM 53-55. Equivalent to a DD214.
