Trying to find a friend that was stationed at 29 Palms, CA. He worked at the fitness center, African American, drove a burgundy Oldsmobile with a silver top. I left in the mid 80's, not sure when he left.

I seem to remember something about the Ammo ship blowing up, I got there on the 5th of May 1970. I was at the Food storage warehouses we issued all the cold storage stuff, we were the place that had the Ribeye steaks

I was in Cam Ranh 69-70 assigned to the 606th Ord Co. We ran Charlie Area Ammo Dump. Were you there when the Ammo Ship blew and the POL Dump caught fire?

I was stationed @ Hahn AB, Germany 66-69. I got and early release but my buddy got re-assigned to Edwards AFB Cal. Haven't heard of since, he was orginally from La. His name was Marion Anthony Crawford.

My daddy is Lawrence Eugene Bemis, formerly known as Lawrence Eugene Savin in his military days in Vietnam. He was an Army Ranger of the 75th infantry. LRRP. H4C I feel it only appropriate to post here that heaven has gained another fallen soldier.
