Veteran of the US Army E-5 from 1968 to 1973 who fought in Vietnam
My name is Matthew Getchell, Veteran of the US Army E-5 from 1968 to 1973. I am in search of anyone who I may have served with. I served in Vietnam but we just found out that my DD-214 does not list me as a Veteran of Vietnam. I am trying to work with the VA to have my DD-214 corrected. It's quite disburbing to know you fought in Vietnam but your DD-214 does not agree.

Mathew, my name is Thomas Gill and I served from 1968-1976 and my DD214 is incorrect also. It doesn't show my actual MOS training nor my 2 year re-enlistment as an Army Recruiter from 1974-1976. Where did you go to basic training? I was at Ft Bliss Texas, 1968 Bravo Company
