The 326th Engineer Battalion was first constituted in 1918 as part of the National Army and has served with distinction in multiple conflicts. Assigned to the 101st Airborne Division during World War II, the unit played a crucial role in airborne operations, including the Normandy landings and the Battle of the Bulge.
