The 219th Military Intelligence (MI) Detachment was a specialized unit within the United States Army tasked with providing intelligence support to higher headquarters. Activated during the Cold War era, the 219th MI Detachment contributed to intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination in support of operational planning and decision-making. The unit participated in numerous training exercises and deployments, adapting to evolving intelligence needs throughout its service. Over time, its personnel and assets were integrated into larger intelligence organizations as part of broader Army restructuring efforts.
