The **1st Force Service Regiment** is a logistics unit of the United States Marine Corps, originally activated as the 1st Service Battalion in 1942 during World War II. The regiment provided critical supply, maintenance, and transportation support to Marine combat units in the Pacific Theater, including operations at Guadalcanal and Okinawa. Over the decades, it underwent several reorganizations, becoming the 1st Force Service Regiment to better support expeditionary operations. Today, it is known as Combat Logistics Regiment 1, continuing its legacy of providing comprehensive combat service support to the 1st Marine Division and other Marine Air-Ground Task Force elements.
