The 192nd Field Artillery (FA) traces its origins to the New Hampshire National Guard, with a lineage dating back to the late 19th century. Mobilized for service in World War I, the unit saw action as part of the 26th "Yankee" Division in France. During World War II, the 192nd FA again deployed overseas, providing critical artillery support in the European Theater. In the postwar years, the unit continued to serve in various state and federal missions, upholding its tradition of excellence and readiness within the modern Army National Guard.
