The 1st Battalion, 125th Infantry Regiment (1-125th IN) is a unit of the Michigan Army National Guard with a distinguished lineage dating back to the Civil War era. Originally organized in the 19th century, the unit and its predecessors have served in major conflicts including the Civil War, World War I, and World War II as part of the famed 32nd "Red Arrow" Division. In modern times, the 1-125th Infantry has deployed in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, demonstrating adaptability and professionalism in both combat and peacekeeping roles. Today, the battalion remains a vital component of the 63rd Troop Command, upholding its proud heritage of service to both state and nation.
