1:87th Armored Infantry

The 1st Battalion, 87th Armored Infantry Regiment was originally constituted in 1941 as part of the 87th Infantry Regiment, serving with distinction during World War II in the Aleutian Islands and the Italian Campaign. 9TH MOTOR TRANSPORT BATTALION
