The Seventh Army was a field army of the United States Army activated in 1943 during World War II. The United Nations Command Security Force–Joint Security Area (UNCSF–JSA) is a specialized military unit responsible for maintaining security and stability within the Joint Security Area at the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Established in 1953 following the Korean Armistice Agreement, the unit operates under the United Nations Command and consists primarily of U.S. and Republic of Korea (ROK) personnel.
