History of 627th Hospital Center

The 627th Hospital Center is a U.S. Army medical unit with a mission to provide command and control of assigned medical treatment facilities and units in support of military operations.   • COVID-19 Response: In 2020, the 627th Hospital Center played a pivotal role in the Army's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, deploying soldiers and resources to support overwhelmed civilian hospitals in the United States.
  • Modular Structure: The unit is designed as a modular medical headquarters, allowing it to task-organize and control multiple subordinate hospitals, such as Combat Support Hospitals (CSH) and Field Hospitals.
