Looking for (unfortunately forgotten full names)
Wife, Barb, trying to help her husband, Vic Harris, look for those he served with, shared a tent with, trained with, even possibly went to basic training or AIT with. Sadly, with age & health issues, he has forgotten full names. Some names are names - where exact spelling on a computer search is an issue. Or others he only remembers first / last names or nicknames. His basic training was in Fort Ord, CA June 1965 His AIT was at Ft. Devens, Massachusetts. 1965 - June 1966. While at Ft. Devens, MA he boxed on the All Army Boxing Team. He then served for a number of months in Phu Bai, Viet Nam from June 1966 - Fall / Winter 1966. He was then transferred to Pleiku, Viet Nam Fall / Winter 1966, served there until June of 1967. He was then transferred to Herzogenaurach, Germany for a year (June 1967 - June 1968). He was then sent back to Pleiku, Viet Nam in June 1968 until June of 1969. Also, in Viet Nam and Germany, when back at base and had time, he worked out (Martial Arts) with individuals or had a small group training together. He served in the 330th Radio Research Company, Army Security Agency (ASA). Does anyone recognize him and if so, would you PLEASE reply / contact us; and also include anything you are willing and able to share about how you know Vic? (For example when, where, and how you know Vic) GREATLY APPRECIATED! A heartfelt THANK YOU from me for your service and sacrifice!
