Fort Gordon, located near Augusta, Georgia, was established in 1941 as Camp Gordon, serving as a training center during World War II. Throughout its history, the installation has played a significant role in signal and communications training for the U.S. Army. In 1974, it became the home of the U.S. Army Signal Center and School, cementing its reputation as the heart of Army communications. In recent years, Fort Gordon has expanded its mission to include cyber operations, housing the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence and U.S. Army Cyber Command, making it a pivotal hub for both traditional and modern military operations.

The 344th Military Police Company (344th MP Co) has a distinguished history of service within the United States Army Reserve. Activated during World War II, the unit initially provided security, law enforcement, and prisoner of war operations in the European Theater. Over subsequent decades, the 344th MP Co has supported various missions, including deployments to the Balkans, Southwest Asia, and in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The unit continues to maintain readiness for both domestic and overseas missions, upholding the Military Police Corps’ motto, "Assist, Protect, Defend."

The 118th Military Police Company (Airborne), known as the 118th MP CO (ABN), is a distinguished unit within the United States Army Military Police Corps. Originally constituted during the mid-20th century, the unit has served in various capacities, including law enforcement, combat support, and security operations. The 118th MP CO (ABN) gained recognition for its airborne capabilities and has participated in numerous airborne operations and training exercises, often alongside elite airborne divisions. Throughout its history, the company has deployed in support of both domestic missions and overseas contingencies, upholding the motto of "Protect and Serve" while demonstrating adaptability, professionalism, and readiness.
