Bank of America Celebration at the Station is the largest FREE Memorial Day Weekend event in the Midwest. The Kansas City Symphony, led by Music Director Michael Stern, performs patriotic favorites against the backdrop of Kansas City's historic Union Station. The event concludes with the most blazing fireworks display of the year! The Kansas City Symphony is grateful to Bank of America for making this gift to our city possible. Coolers, blankets and lawnchairs welcome! Please no glass containers or pets.

Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery

Cemetery staff highly encourages you to print the gravesite location of your loved one prior to coming to the cemetery. Bus and Tram transportation will be provided for Memorial Day only from the Sheridan Road Metro Station and the JB Medical Center, and will start 8:00 a.m. Due to very heavy traffic on Sheridan Road, visitors are strongly encouraged to use the Koch Road exit from I-255 and park in the shuttle lots at the JB VA Medical Center. Gravesite Locators will be at the Administration Building, Metro Station, Jefferson Barracks Medical Center parking lot, and a drive thru locator will be at Committal Shelter #1.
